Sign up soon to reserve a spot before the league sells out! Sign up as a free agent and get rostered on a team in our Adult Soccer League or gather a group of friends who want to play! Teams in need of players will be able to pick up players from our free agent pool.

League Information

You can choose to participate in our Adult Soccer League or our Open Play pickup nights, or both! Individuals or teams can sign up. Individuals will be placed on a Free Agent team for league play when available. If a Free Agent team is not formed money will be refunded to the individuals that have registered.

General League Information 

Season Format:

  • Most sessions include 5-7 regular season games
  • Playoff structure varies based on total team registration but will always take place the week after regular season ends and will be completed in one evening
  • Not all teams are guaranteed a post season game.
  • Minimum 6 teams required per league
  • Roster cap: 18 players (no additions after Week 3)
  • Coed play encouraged but not required
  • All players must be 18+

Uniform Guidelines:

  • Team uniforms are encouraged
  • If your team does not have uniforms, players must bring both a black and a white shirt for color coordination

Payment Structure:

  • Team Registration $895 (Sunday league $695)
  • Free Agent $95 (Tuesday’s only)
  • $5 player card required per player (good for 1 year)
  • $100 non-refundable deposit due at registration for teams
  • $100 payments due Week 1 & Week 2
  • Remaining balance due Week 3
  • No auto-pay; captains must keep payments up to date or forfeit games
  • All players must bring their player card to every game. Players can get a player card at the front desk for $5.

Tuesday League:

  • Single division (not split by skill level)
  • Game times: Tuesdays, 7:00 PM – 12:00 AM
  • Format and structure will be determined based on the number of teams
  • Championship shirts for 1st place team (just 1 winner)

Thursday League:

  • Two divisions
  • Recreational A – more competitive
  • Recreational B – more relaxed/social
  • Game times: Thursdays, 6:00 PM – 12:00 AM
  • Championship shirts for 1st place team in each division (2 winners)

Sunday League: 

  • Two divisions
  • Competitive 
  • Recreational
  • Game times: Sunday, 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM
  • Cash prize for the competitive league. Amount varies by number of sign ups: 6+ teams will be $500, 4 teams will be $350
  • The winning team of the Recreational league will get shirts

Milwaukee Yard is your destination for year-round sports and recreation. Our facility features two state-of-the-art basketball courts and three indoor turf fields, perfect for athletes of all ages and skill levels.

We offer the following open play opportunities:

Adult Open Play Basketball & Soccer – join a game, stay active, and connect with the community. 

Middle School & High School Open Play Basketball – a fun way for students to stay sharp outside of school teams. 

Whether you’re looking to play in a pick-up game, practice your skills, or just get moving, Milwaukee Yard has space for you.

Adult Open play is for adults 18+ only. Participants may be asked to present a form of identification to verify their age. Online registration spots are only guaranteed for the first 30 minutes of open play.

We do not provide balls/equipment please bring your own ball at your own discretion, we are not responsible for any equipment brought in.

Tuesdays & Thursdays 8:00pm-10:00pm

Middle School & High School Basketball Open Play

Saturdays 1:00pm -3:00pm

Fridays 3:30pm-5:30pm

Active waiver must be on file for each participant. Must be in Middle School or High School. School ID may be required for entry.

Frequently asked questions

When are fees due?

$100 initial deposit. Another $100 due before the first game and second game. Final payment due before the start of the 3rd game

When is the deadline for adding players to my team’s roster?

All rosters are locked before the 4th game and no further additions can be made. The paper roster at the front desk is the master roster sheet.

What is my roster limit?

The maximum roster size is 18 players.

How do I receive my player card to play?

You can stop at the front desk to get your player card made prior to your first game. Player cards are $5.00 and are good for a full year.

Why do I need a player card?

Player cards are required for the integrity of the league. It helps validate the roster and create a more fair environment. Player cards are handed to the ref before each game and returned afterwards.

What if I lost my player card? Can I still play?

Yes. Replacement player cards are $5 at the front desk and good for a year!

How are standings determined in the case of a tie?

In case of a tie in the standings, the tiebreaker scenario goes as follows: 

  • 1.) head to head. 
  • 2.) goal differential capped at +/-3. 
  • 3.) coin flip
