Summer basketball camp
Summer Basketball Camp at Milwaukee Yard is a half-day or full-day camp program for children ages Kindergarten through 8th grade. Campers will rotate between indoor and outdoor activities, adjusting for the weather.
Trained coaches will teach the fundamentals of basketball through drills, small-sided games, and scrimmages. All campers utilize our 2 state-of-the-art indoor basketball courts, outdoor courts (weather permitting), and our play structures for intermittent breaks to allow younger kids time to refocus their attention.
Basketball Camp runs Monday through Friday all summer long, and we offer flexible registration options allowing parents to choose the days and weeks for their child to attend. Half Day camp is from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and focuses only on basketball. Full Day camp is from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM and campers will split time between basketball and soccer.
Full Day rate is $60/day or $225/week. Half Day rate is $35/day or $125/week.
Before & After Camp Care is available. Before camp care is $15/day and starts at 7:30 AM. After camp care is $20/day and ends at 5:30 PM.
Milwaukee Yard is a 101,000+ square foot indoor facility, which means rain, heat, and cold never cancel a day of camp. Our facility is located at 7727 S. Longwater Drive in Oak Creek, Wisconsin, just off I-41/94 at Drexel Ave. We serve families from Oak Creek, Franklin, Greenfield, South Milwaukee, Cudahy, and the greater Milwaukee metro area.

General Information
Camps run Monday – Friday
Half Day AM: 9:00am – 12:00pm
Full day options available from 9:00am-3:30pm. Campers will participate in Basketball Camp from 9:00am-12:00pm, eat lunch from 12:00pm-12:30pm, and then participate in Soccer Camp from 12:30pm-3:30pm.
There is no Half Day PM Basketball Camp option.
Camp is for children entering K-8th Grade.
Campers will be provided (1) camp shirt with their initial registration.
Campers should bring a nut-free sack lunch, water bottle, gym shoes & socks. All items should be labeled and kept in a backpack during camp.
Snacks will be provided for AM and PM snack or children are welcome to bring their own nut-free snack.
Please leave electronics at home. If bringing a cell phone it must be kept in bags for emergency use only.
Pre-Registration is highly recommended. Walk-in’s will not be guaranteed a spot pending camp numbers.
Before/After Camp Care. Extended hours for those who need an earlier drop off or later pickup. Before camp care is $15/day and starts at 7:30am. After Camp care is $20/day and ends at 5:30pm. *There is no walk-in for extended camp. Pre- registration must be done ahead of time.*
*Participants signed up for AM Basketball/PM Sports Camp will eat lunch with the full day Soccer Camp kids and then join their camp for the afternoon.

If signing up for anything less than 5 days please leave in the comments which days you will be attending. To register for multiple weeks please contact Milwaukee Yard directly.
There will be a $10 late fee per day for campers registered after 4pm Friday of the previous week.
Mission
Milwaukee Yard basketball camps teach the fundamentals of the sport through drills, small-sided games, and scrimmages. Basketball is also used as a platform to teach the ethics of hard-work, teamwork, and self-confidence through sports activity, all while having fun!
Vision
Now, more than ever, it is critical to get our children off their phones and tablets, and interacting with other children. Summer Basketball Camp utilizes basketball as a tool to achieve this goal. Campers will improve their basketball skills while making friends and learning life-skills that will carry with them beyond the court.
